I'm a 34-year-old I&C engineer working in the nuclear power industry, currently living in Chattanooga, TN. I love it here—it's a great mix of mountains, trails, and a community that fits my lifestyle. This website is my space to document my journey learning programming, game development, and web development. It’s a hobby for me right now, but one I genuinely want to improve at. I took a few CS courses in college and have always missed the rapid feedback loop that coding gives.

Outside of this programming adventure, I stay busy with a handful of other hobbies. I love rock climbing (thank you Chattanooga for being perfect for that), mountain biking, and playing ultimate frisbee. Clearly I gravitate toward being active and outdoors. I'm also into photography, and one day I hope to grow this website enough to host my photo portfolio here as well.
